The 15th IVMSP Workshop invites proposals for Special Sessions on innovative and timely topics that have not been extensively covered in regular IVMSP sessions. These sessions should address emerging challenges and opportunities in image, video, and multidimensional signal processing, with the potential to significantly influence the direction of the field.

IVMSP, organized by the IEEE Signal Processing Society’s Image, Video, and Multidimensional Signal Processing Technical Committee (IVMSP TC), focuses on advancing methods and applications in multidimensional signal processing—including image, video, and novel sensing modalities.

Proposal Guidelines

Each proposal should include the following information:
1. Title of the proposed Special Session
2. Names, affiliations, and contact information of the session organizers
3. Brief biographies of the organizers, highlighting expertise relevant to the proposed topic
4.A description of the session topic (up to 500 words), explaining:
      Its novelty and importance to the IVMSP community
      Why it is timely and suitable as a Special Session at IVMSP 2026
5. A tentative session structure, such as:
      Example 1: An invited keynote talk followed by oral or poster presentations
      Example 2: A set of oral presentations concluded with a panel discussion
      Example 3: A tutorial-style talk followed by technical paper presentations
Sessions should be planned to last approximately 2 to 3 hours. Organizers are encouraged to suggest possible invited speakers or panelists.
6. A list of six (6) contributing papers, each including:
      Title, Author names and affiliations, A short abstract
All papers submitted to accepted Special Sessions will undergo the same peer review process as regular conference submissions and will be included in the conference proceedings.
